OUR RESPONSE TO THE STATEMENT FROM PRESIDENT KATSAV¹S OFFICE:

OUR RESPONSE TO THE STATEMENT FROM PRESIDENT KATSAV¹S OFFICE:

The Committee to Save Mt. Zion acknowledges this response from President Katsav and takes note that this is a significant step in the right direction. Yet, the denial from President Katsav does not help curtail halting the Vatican in their continual desire to obtain part (or all of) Mt. Zion, a project that has been assisted by the Pave the Way Foundation and several Israeli leaders in the past. We seek that both President Katsav and other parties involved now drop the idea of handing over any part of any land/structure on Mt. Zion to the Vatican. Significant documentation exists to demonstrate that this certainly was in the works. This includes numerous statements from the Vatican itself, as well as former members of the Israeli government who supported the Vatican cause. Even though we acknowledge today's denial as another victory in the campaign to save Mt. Zion, we await further information.
