AFSI--Action Alert
ACTION ALERT
Israeli P.M. Ehud Olmert is scheduled to meet with President George W. Bush on May 23rd in Washington to discuss P.M. Olmert’s plan to “disengage” from Judea and Samaria. It is reported that P.M. Olmert will be requesting 10 billion dollars for the plan.
We are asking our Christian friends to remind President Bush of God’s covenant with Israel and to tell him that this plan is suicidal for Israel and dangerous to America and must not be supported in any way – financially or otherwise. To the contrary, P.M. Olmert should be sent home with the clear message that it is a really bad idea.
The “disengagement” from Gaza has proved, as we all knew it would, a complete disaster and has created another major terror base for the Islamofascists. Iran, Hamas and al-Qaeda, to mention a few, are working together in Gaza as arms pour in through Egypt. A withdrawal from Judea and Samaria would mean an immediate existential threat to Israel and would threaten Jordan, Egypt and the whole region at a time when Iran moves quickly towards nuclear capability.
Nothing good can come from this plan!
